Optional services

  1. Surface feeding insects. During the growing season these surface feeding insects, for example: Army worms, sod webworms and cutworms, can pose a problem and cause damage to turf. We do offer control for these insects. If found, we will inform you before a treatment would be done.
  2. Grub preventative. This applications is applied by August 1st to prevent damage from grubs for the season. This application must be watered in by the homeowner.
  3. Gypsum. Gypsum provides calcium which is needed to flocculate clays in soil. It is this process in which many individual small clay particles are bound together to give fewer but larger particles. This will  reduce compaction in clay soils to increase water penetration and root movement.
  4. Fall aeration. Aeration will help increase air and water flow to the root zone. It also helps stimulate new growth in the roots.
  5. Over Seeding. We offer over seeding August 30th – September 30th, which is the ideal time of year to seed. This can be done alone or in combination with a core aeration.
